Mistakes happen.  It is how we deal with them that differentiates the good from the unfortunate!  Learn, move on and don't worry too much about the broken record (just tell her in your own way that most people listen to MP4's now so she should bin the proverbial LP she has been playing about your booking error!) 

As for your boss, it may be he is/was unhappy about someone else!
