Just updated my CV last week (not done this for 8 months) as I had a 'phone call out of the blue from an agency saying that they'd like to put me forward for a role they thought I would be very suitable for and they wanted to submit my details to .... I've not heard any more, so assuming nothing coming my way, although will do follow up call to agency. Hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. it was worth trying out for as it was more monies and more interesting tasks / daily stimulation than I'm doing now plus making more use of my skillset than I do at the moment.
