Although I think they are ultimately making some good changes, the way they went about disbanding the chapters and divisions felt completely unethical (legal, but unethical) and I think it will bite them in the butt with membership numbers. I hope they have a heck of a recruiting plan in place to replace those members they are bound to lose.
The 11,000 members includes a time period with political turmoil - just following the forced stepdown of an international president-elect, a $25 dues increase, a $50 dues increase plus a CP-U increase for the next 5 years, plus the global recession. So I think there are a lot of factors contributing to the decline.
