Ok., Bossie asks for a copy of an accounts payable bill that will can use to get reimbursed for the expense. 5 times I have made a copy, he can't find it. Me tired of going to the file taking out all of the staples, etc. to make a copy and then reconstructing the file. I make 25 copies of the bill. I am now down to 15 copies left. What is he doing with it? Eating it!? Arrrgh! Back to cyberspace! This is my Thursday, hope your's is better. I feel better now.

Oh dear chikky, do you work with my boss too  I like your style by making a bunch of copies and just handing them to him one at a time - must try that!!! I usually find that when I have a look around his office I find all the copies he says he cannot find - I think that he puts them down in various places, cannot be bothered to look for them so simply asks for another and another and another.......... Not that I normally go for 'threat' however I have been known to sarcastically remark to a careless male prone to losing papers I have provided that I could arrange attachment by staple to a tender part of the anatomy ... amazing how their memory immediately improves for some time
... needless to say the stapler has never actually been called into service in this context ... do you think that is because I keep a long arm, heavy duty stapler on my desk instead of one of those wee ones?

Love this suggestion Cathy S - can't wait to see his face when I suggest this next time it happens I can just imagine the conversation - "Bossie, now stand still while I staple this to your 'finger' " and watch him run faster than his little legs can carry him  |

 Surely you mean, in an attempt to give him a proverbial kick up the backside, to staple it to his gluteous maximus? I have been tempted before now, but facilities are overworked and so it would be unfair to demand the industrial stapler every time!

Update: Finally, a copy makes it out the door and posted to the mail!. I have put the last 8 copies in the file. I will not shred them until we get the reimbursment check and it hits our bank account. TGIF!!! Have a great weekend everyone.
