New client wants something called an "arbitration list" or a "case log sheet" to put in each case file. It would have the case info.. names and original dates and such.. who the attorneys are... but it needs to show where things stand... ie...whats happening right now in the case, whats the next procedure, etc.



Anyone EVER make something like this? I am NOT a legal secretary, but got rangled into this one...



Please, advice is most welcome!!

I'm not in litigation, where these are used for the most part.  I've seen them and there's no set form.  They're different at each law office.  The first page lists who is involved with pertinent contact information.  Then it's just dates and things done on the case in chronilogical order.  It gives anyone looking at the file a heads up on what the current status is and what's been done.  It probably includes upcoming dates of procedures or meetings that are upcoming on the case.
