Yesterday, I went to re-sign up with another agency I'd worked for. Lo and behold, they called me today with a job that pays more and has better hours than my last assignment! How's that for the Universe taking care of me! I start on Monday. No guarantees that this will be the best fit for me or for them but it IS something, so that's a good thing!

Good luck, Oz.  I hope it all works out for you.  Finding the right job is tough (I'm currently looking!) but we've all been through.

IMO, temping is probably the best way of finding that right job.

Congrats Oz!  Even if this isn't the job for you, at least it is income coming in and giving you even more experiences.  Let's hope that it's a good fit though.

Well it is my 3rd day now and things are going pretty well! I like the company and the gal who is training me is a sweetheart. I even like answering the phone and dealing with customers (so far--haven't had a mean one yet!) So we'll see, this might turn out to be a good move!
