This question usually comes up in interviews - of which I have been attending many recently.....  Roll Eyes

Never quite sure what to say.  Are they hoping you will say something along the lines of "still working with that particular company" so they know you are looking to commit long term to save them hiring someone who will leave in the short term?

Any employers lurking on the boards out there who can suggest what you would consider the 'right' answer?

I may make plans of where I would like to be (personally and professionally) but life does tend to get in the way.  I believe it is good to map out future ideals but be prepared to bend a little when  'stuff' happens to alter your plans.

If there is something you want to/need to achieve, and are prepared to move heaven and earth to get it, this is positive and good.  You have focus.  Even if something drops from the sky (such as Marie's toilet - loved that example  Cheesy!!) to throw you off course, you just have to work around it -  find solutions to get you back on track.

 Angry
In 5 years time? probably sitting at the same desk surrounded by even younger fee earners, with the same pieces of paper and chasing the same late paying clients over ever-increasing aged debts!,

But that is just how I feel today.  Ask me tomorrow!
