I would like to make a quick introduction, my name is Susan Silva and I am the new editor for the US section of DeskDemon.  As you may notice I have been busy in the background the past few weeks working on the US website.  It has a new look, it has new information and new sections, and per your request it has discounts and giveaways. (more contests coming!!).   I am happy to say you will continue to see fresh content and information on topics for the administrative professional on a regular basis!

If you have any comments on the new look, or the information, please feel free to drop me an email at editorus@deskdemon.com or susans@deskdemon.com.  I look foward to hearing from  you.

I love the new look!  Thanks.

I wanted to point out, though, that when I tried to participate in the survey, I got a "page not found" error.  I haven't had time to look at everything yet, so there may be more little glitches.  Don't worry, we'll let you know as we find them.

I ran into the same error as Peachy today while trying to do the survey also.

I too have run into the same error from both my work and home computer.  I'd love to be able to participate!

Thanks!

Also curious... as a Word-Search fan, would love to see the word-search game updated.  At one time it was mentioned on the site that users could submit lists of words to be used for future month's word-searches.  Kind of a "suggest a theme" type of thing.  This would be great, and would make the foray into the Cafe a bit more relaxing and fun to be able to find new words.  That's one area that could be the same for both the UK and US sites...

I also like the "Google" search bar that's on the UK site.  Any chance you could add it to the US site??

It has been busy with adding the US sections as well as the WorkSmart section on the UK.  I wanted to post on a few of the issues.

The poll on the side should be working properly now.   The results show on the same page.

Wordsearch.  I have to admit I really enjoy that and would like to see more but at this time I am not sure what that involves.  Once we get all the bugs out of the new pages I will look into that.  I had a few java crossword puzzles I will be brining over as well in a week or so.

As for the Google search bar, we will be putting in a new search very soon.

If you find any other issues, please let me know.

In the other posts, I will ask our technical expert about the logging on to the message board issues.

WorkSmart in the UK, they are all asleep as I post this but I will mention to them to check the links.  It isn't your computer but a few pages are linked up as of yet.

Both projects are work in progress and though the information is up we are working on all the unforeseen issues.  Thanks for helping out!
