Prior to a scheduled meeting at 9am this morning, which I think will be cancelled, I am guessing the discrepancy is thus....
I am recording actual hours and minutes, whereas payroll are recording a percentage eg. if I work 37hrs 42 mins in a week which is 1hr 42 mins accrued flexi time, I record it as such. However payroll record it as 37.70 or thereabouts, recording the minutes as a % and not the actual time worked/accrued.
In addition, payroll add accrued flexi at the end of each cycle, whereas I record it on a daily weekly basis.
My question is, which is correct? Even though I am going by my own records, it means the company system is doing and recording something else. So every time I get an update on my flexi balance, I am replacing my total with what payroll advise me.
