Any ideas on how to remove permanent marker from a wipe board?? Yes! Someone couldn't read the decription on a box of markers and has now done the unthinkable, despite me telling this individual to ensure he chose the correct one. These are the eejits men I work with!

No, I won't be trying anything. It will be the culprit who will have to sort it. I won't be the one informing Facilities!!

I have done this before and Lysol Disinfectant Wipes will sometimes work. You can also try Static Guard it gets rid of lots of stuck on messes.

Okay, I know I'm monumentally too late for this one but... The best, best, best way of removing permanent marker from a wipe board is to use a rubber - just a normal eraser that you'd use to get rid of pencil marks on paper - to remove the ink and then clean the wipe board in the way that you usually do. It leaves no marks and no residue. Done! You'd be amazed how often I need to do this after Exec meetings ha!

Or you can go over the permanent marker with a whiteboard marker and it will come off
