Finally!

I got a job! I got a job!  Oh My GOSH I gotta job!



I'm just so excited I could scream (oh, wait... I did that already!).



And, it's even in the field I want to make a career out of! I'll be the Fund Development Coordinator for a non-profit organization. I'll be doing grant writing, working aside the Development Officer... and also doing Community Relations and what-not.



It is truly a GREAT day

But wait, you WANT to go into development?  I was in it for 9 years, and have just, after 6 years, un-pasted the fake smile from my face that developed after dealing with major gifts donors who were "always right" and thought I was the epitome of lowest on the totem pole.  



I wish you the best, but I gotta tell ya, if you're not an actress now, start working on it!

Donna?  Yes, I want to get into Development. I love Fund Raising, ESPECIALLY for worthy causes. One of my best friends and mentors is a Development Director, and she's taught me everything she knew. It's something I am good at, and better yet... something I love. In fact, my VA biz that I'm starting on the side is actually targeted toward Non-profits, and offers discounted pricing.
