I have accepted a better paying admin. position for an employer in the same field as my current one. My current employer wants me to send a letter to our clients informing them that I'm leaving. I'm not sure how to word the letter, because these clients might someday become clients at my new job. Any ideas/websites to help? Thanks!

Keep it simple. Here's just an idea that you can build on, if you like it.
This is to inform you that MStoro will be leaving ABC Company to pursue other interests. His/her last day with the firm will be March 22. We are informing you of this change in the event you have any unfinished business you would like brought to a closure, or if you have specific instructions to be passed on to MStoro's predecessor. In the interim, MStoro's duties will be handled by Sarah Sharp. Sarah's background (if it's relevant). Sarah's phone number is . We will make every effort to ensure a smooth transition. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please call me at (xxx)555-1111

GE's response is great as always, but change the word "predecessor" to "successor".
You're right to send a "professional" notice to your clients; you never know where you might meet them again (on the job or not).
