Hmmm... Well, Andrea, I think it all depends on what route you take... you could zip on over the Atlantic in a straight line, or you could meander down through the Carribean, through the Panama Canal, then since you're in the vicinity why not buzz on down for a quick trip through Polenesian Islands then cruise through the Indian Sea, and down over the Cape of Good Hope and follow the African coast up to England...then up the Thames and you're there!    I don't think I have enough brain cells to figure that trip out... but I would love to take it!  Anyone want to come join me??

Or what about if you left going the other way around the world???  Then you're talking even more miles.  Course, you cross the entire United States, then move around to China and Japan and so on....  Add in all the twists and turns your flight path might have to take in some airways and who would know how many miles it would be.

But what great questions you raise!
