Week of April 26th- CV/Resume--updating?

Mine is up to date.  I generally update it when I am job hunting but that would also include internal jobs.  I have less trouble with my CV than with the cover letter.  I never know what to write in the cover letter and I am terrible at "tooting my own horn".  Not good for the cover letters or the interview for that matter.

I keep mine updated always - as you never know but I would be very hard pressed to keep a copy on my hard drive at work,  not in the best interest of myself or my employer.

I am going to start... After my experiences in the past two years, I would be foolish to have not learned that lesson.  I will officially be an employee (no longer a temp) on Monday, and intend to have it updated shortly.  Not so much for a job search, but I've used my resume in other applications as well - organizations and education come to mind.

I have had to keep my CV up to date in the last quarter year as I have been reinstated as a fee earner (I even appear on our intranet with my Cv).  This of course makes it easier since I have been looking for another job for some time now, as some of you may remember!
