Putting myself out there

I am pitching a new idea to senior management today that involves changing a strategy. I've done my research, written up my suggestions and distributed in advance, and the meeting is today. Just looking for some good wishes as this is my first experience trying to change the status quo.

Oh good luck Laura. I love it when an opportunity like this comes our way.
Keep us posted on the panel's reactions and the outcome.

Hope I am not too late with good wishes.
I will be doing something similar early March and whilst I am excited to have the opportunity and I have plenty of time to do all the correct preparation I know that I will be a little nervous come the day. I think I would prefer to stand up in front of one large group - but in my case it will be presenting a poster to outline the ideas and I could have to make the pitch to anything up to 100 individuals or small groups (all of whom will be experienced at presenting posters to colleagues and I have never done so)so the key will be to keep the message upbeat and fresh otherwise by no 59 it'll come across as ennui!
Please let us know how you get on Laura
